Make Your Hawaii Fishing Charter Reservation Today!
At Sea Wife Charters, our main priority is offering you the best chance of getting an impressive catch. We offer both exclusive private and individual shared charters. For private charters, you can choose a fishing trip of four, six or eight hours, and can have up to 18 people in your group, whether they’re fishing too or just coming along for the ride. And for shared charters, when you book yourself as an angler, you’re welcome to book a friend as a rider to take pictures, enjoy the view or help you out.
To book either type of charter, view our live availability, make your reservation, pre pay and receive immediate confirmation with our convenient and secure payment system by clicking our calendar link above. If you have additional questions or would like personal assistance booking your charter, give us a call at 808-329-1806.
Once your reservation is confirmed, all you have to do is check in with us at least 15 minutes prior to our set departure time to give the captain time to greet you, go over the required safety regulations and give you a rundown of our fishing methods. If you arrive early, feel free to browse our fun collection of Sea Wife II T-shirts and hats to choose a souvenir of your trip to bring home.
The Sea Wife II departs from The Fuel Dock, located in Honokohau Harbor, which is five miles south of the Kona airport and 2 ½ miles north of Kailua-Kona on Highway 19. When you turn into the harbor, stay on the road heading towards the ocean. This will keep you on the left side of the harbor. Near the end, you will see a two-story building with a red roof and a gas station to the right. Park in the lot and proceed to our office by entering the F Dock Deli, turn left and proceed down the hall, turn right and enter The Charter Desk.
We provide complimentary bottled water and light dry snacks. There is a deli and store located on the ground floor that opens at 6 a.m. daily for your convenience, and you are allowed to bring any other food and drinks you might like for your trip, except for bananas, which are not allowed on the boat as they are considered bad luck to fishermen. Beer is allowed, but to ensure your safety, we request that you refrain from bringing glass bottles. No dark soled shoes as they mark up the deck and are very hard to remove. Wear socks or remain barefoot if these are all you have. If you use spray on sunscreen, please apply it before boarding as the mist will make our boat and gear slippery.
Cancellation Policy: You will be subject to full charge if your reservation is not cancelled more than 24 hours in advance for a shared charter or 48 hours in advance for a private charter if we do not have enough time to resell your reserved space. No call, no shows will be charged 100%.
If we end up not having a minimum of four anglers booked for a shared charter, the trip may be cancelled. This can happen during the slower season when not enough people sign up or when others booked cancel or reschedule at the last minute. We will contact you by phone the night before the trip by 6:00pm.
